Honoring Our Heroes: VMAX Supports the 7th Annual Central Florida Wounded Vet Run!

Riding for a Cause: VMAX Joins the Central Florida Wounded Vet Run

On February 16th, the rumble of motorcycles echoed through the streets as riders from all walks of life came together to honor our nation's wounded veterans at the 7th Annual Central Florida Wounded Vet Run. Hosted at the Lake Square Mall, this event was a powerful testament to the resilience and bravery of those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom.

Organized by a coalition of passionate individuals and organizations, including Gator Harley Davidson, Asphalt Iron, Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Fran Haasch Law Group, and the American Legion Auxiliary unit 25, the Wounded Vet Run brought the community together for a day of camaraderie, remembrance, and support.

One of the highlights of the event was the escorted ride by the Lake County Sheriff's Office, a moving tribute to our wounded warriors and a symbol of solidarity from law enforcement with those who have served. Among the riders, volunteers, and supporters stood the dedicated members of VMAX for One kids, eager to lend a helping hand and show their gratitude to our veterans.

While some may have revved their engines and hit the open road, VMAX chose to make a different kind of impact by manning the food and drink stand, ensuring that all attendees were well-fed and hydrated throughout the day. Their selfless contribution exemplified the spirit of service and compassion that defines the Wounded Vet Run and its mission to support Purple Heart recipient Mayuri Agurto, an Army veteran.

As the sun set on another successful Wounded Vet Run, we were reminded once again of the power of community, unity, and the unwavering dedication to those who have served our country. Thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered, and supported this incredible event. And a special salute to VMAX for One for their continued commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.
